It’s very shades of Ginny Weasley being possessed by Voldemort in a way, and it’s another issue of a woman in that sort of situation that is never revisited or elaborated on in the canon. 

Because ugh, poor Molly. I JUST HAVE ALL THESE FEELS and also there is hardly any Sherlock fic I actually want to read so I might as well WRITE IT MYSELF.
